ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION: Allows the App to determine your precise location using GPS or network sources.

ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION: Allows the App to determine your approximate location using network cell towers and Wi-Fi signals.

How Location Data is Used:When you grant location permission and enable GPS on the Home Page, the App securely sends your geographic coordinates (latitude and longitude) to the OpenWeatherMap API. This is done strictly to fetch and display your current local weather conditions and a detailed 5-day weather forecast broken down into 3-hour intervals.Data Retention & Transmission:

No Storage: Your location data is used in real-time to fetch the weather data. It is never stored on a remote server, nor is it cached locally on your device.

Data Transmission: The coordinates are securely transmitted via encrypted HTTPS protocols directly to the OpenWeatherMap API solely for query processing.

3. Search Functionality (Alternative to Location Access)If you choose not to grant location permissions, you can still fully utilize the App's search feature. The App includes a Search Bar where you can manually enter a city name or specific location. Manual search queries are used exclusively to request weather data from the OpenWeatherMap API for that specific queried location. This option does not trigger or require access to your device's hardware GPS.4. Third-Party ServicesThe App integrates with the OpenWeatherMap API to retrieve weather telemetry. While we do not transmit personal data to them, their processing of location coordinates to fulfill weather requests is governed by their own privacy practices.
